If, on the other hand, you seek out what’s right, you will see that as well. If you look for stories about a community coming together to support a family in need, the opening of a new library, or the good deeds of a group of schoolchildren, all of those stories are there as well.

Elsie Lincoln Benedict taught that Success has little to do with your income, education, or experiences; rather, a truly successful person is so because of their predominant moods.  

This can be a tough one to accept. Believe me, I know.

I’ve had my share of health problems. I’ve had my share of business worries. I know from experience that keeping a positive, upbeat mood during those times is challenging, if not downright impossible.

I also know that each time I’ve been in a challenging situation and been willing to think past it and accept a mood of determination rather than defeat, I’ve found a way to get past my troubles, and I’ve experienced amazing transformations.
