I recently came across a message Tony and his wife Sage shared as holiday wishes and advice for the coming year.
In this message, they discussed how we don’t actually experience our lives; we experience the lives we focus on. It’s all about perspective. What’s wrong is always available, but so is what’s right.
Tony talks about how a part of our brain always looks for what’s wrong. It’s an evolutionary survival mechanism designed to keep us alive and send us into fight or flight. Once upon a time, there was a man on a mission. His mission was to support his family, live a good life, and give something back to the world that had, so far, been nothing but generous to him.
