Ask Better Questions

I love having a few moments of spare time. For me, they seem to come few and far between. When I find myself with time to breathe, maybe in the back of an Uber, on a plane, or late at night when I can’t quite fall asleep, I often find comfort in perusing the vaults of Russell Brunson’s Secrets of Success Society.

Russell has put together a virtual treasure trove of insight and wisdom with transformative power for his members. If you’ve read my blogs, you know how much I’ve enjoyed reading the works of Napolean Hill, David Ogilvy, P.T. Barnum, and dozens of others now available at my fingertips.

Recently, I was reviewing the work of Robert Collier, and I came across something that resonated with me.

Let me sum it up here…

Collier talked about how most people going through hardships think a lot about how tough they have it and how difficult it will be to overcome their situation. Too many people get stuck in bad places because they see themselves as chained to a fate beyond what they can control. They ask themselves over and over, how did I end up here? What did I do to deserve this? Or…Why is God punishing me?

Collier talks about how most limitations are self-imposed, and if you want to change your fate, change your thinking and ask better questions.

Questions like: What do you need to do to improve your circumstances?

Do you need a new strategy? A new habit or routine? A new opportunity?

If you spend your time thinking about loss and what you don’t have, your brain circles these thoughts and never thinks of a way to improve things.

If you focus on how to become more resilient, more experienced, more aware, or possibly more grateful, your situation takes on a different hue.

So, if you find yourself in a tough place, start asking better questions. What do you stand to acquire because of this difficult situation? How will what you’re going through now make you a better person? How will you take this situation and improve your future or the future of someone you care about?

The answers may not always come easy, but changing your perspective and telling your brain it must stop its downward spiral of negative thinking can’t hurt and will likely help.

If you like exploring alternate ways of thinking, Russell Brunson has made this easy by allowing you access to his Secrets of Success Mastermind Community. Membership in this community is open to those who wish to gain a competitive advantage by studying and applying the works of people like Robert Collier, Elsie Benedict, Napoleon Hill, Earl Nightengale, and many more.

Membership gives you access to the digital vault, which holds a treasure trove of published and unpublished works from some of the past hundred years' greatest thinkers, philosophers, and entrepreneurs.

To claim your spot in this group, all you need do is go to www.hillbookclub.com. Take advantage of this opportunity, and you’ll join a community of like-minded high achievers. You’ll have the chance to do a deep-dive study into the philosophy of success and personal growth.

I hope to see you on the inside!
